Feature Focus #2 - ArcDrive technology

ArcDrive was developed by Bohler Selco over many years of research, development & testing. The results of this effort is a highly stable, reactive welding arc that offers superb controlability and outstanding spatter free welds.

ArcDrive is a modified waveform. This means that the way the welding arc works is different to other welding machines you may have used. You'll instantly feel the difference in arc characteristics and notice the benefits when you get on "on torch time" with the Bohler Uranos 2000 SMC.

Feature Focus #3 - Synergic control panel

One major bugbear for many welders is how tricky it can be to dial in your weld parameters perfectly. Whilst we're firm believers that parameter setting is a key skill to develop as a welder, the Bohler Uranos 2000 SMC can help those who want to eliminate the guesswork whilst trying to achieve that perfect weld.

The fully synergic control panel allows the user to programme the machine with the diameter of welding wire being used, the type of material being welded, the type of shielding gas being used and the thickness of the material being welded. The machine will then "spit out" the perfect settings for the job at hand.

In addition to this, the user can programme the weld position and also trim / adjust the weld settings to suit their preferences.

Once the user has dialled in their settings they can then then store them to one of 8 memory slots. That's perfect for ensuring you get consistent welds for any repeat jobs you get in.

Most multi process welding machines will have a DC lift TIG feature included as standard. So what makes the Bohler Uranos 2000 SMC any different?
