The HMT VersaDrive ImpactaTaps are an oustanding range of taps that are suitable for use with a wide range of power tools. They are not only the first of its kind, but also the only tap of its kind. Using these taps with an impact wrench or impact driver allows for thread tapping that is at least 15 x faster than hand tapping.
These ImpactaTaps utilise the patented non-slip hexagon shaped shank to allow for use with any standard 1/2" drill chuck (up to M10). Alternatively, you can use a VersaDrive Rapid Lock adapter that allows for use of the ImpactTaps with other power tools such as a reversible magnetic drill or an impact driver / wrench. If a power tool is not an option then they can even be used by hand with a socket wrench.
