The Thermacut Gridiron CNC plasma cutting table is a 2ft x 2ft plasma table that is perfect for bringing your small scale profiling in-house. It utilises Thermacuts outstanding quality Ex-track CNC plasma system to cut your CAD files in materials such as steel & stainless steel. It has a 600MM x 600MM cutting area (2ft x 2ft) and has a maximum material load of up to 400KG; this means that, when paired with the right power source, you could cut up to 30MM plate on this machine as a 600MM x 600MM square sheet of 30MM mild steel plate weighs only ~80KG.
It has a replaceable steel grid which is easy to replace along with a draining valve with a hose fitting which makes for fast water discharge. It is also exceptionally portable due to its low weight (only 108KG) which means you can move it around the workshop ot your hearts delight.
Not only will this machine cut with a plasma arc, it will also cut with oxy/fuel. The included oxygen / gas connection hoses mean you can connect up your oxygen + propane / acetylene and cut thick materials with ease.
We recommend pairing up the Gridiron system with either a Thermacut plasma cutting system or an industry leading plasma cutter of your choice such as Hypertherm, which Welding Supplies Direct (us) are a distributor for.
