MWA's Mac HICA E3072 Stellite 6 is a cobalt based electrode on a fully alloyed core wire and is used to combat wear elements such as heat, impact, corrosion and abrasion. The E3072 Stellite 6 welding rod is mainly suited to application where the main wear element is impact. The welds that this rod produces are machinable and will retain hardness at high temperatures. Suitable applications include shear blades, dies, punches & all applications where good resistance to heat, impact, corrosion and abrasion is required.
