SIFSTEEL 312 is our solid wire for MAG welding which is to be considered a problem solver for all kinds of steel grades incl. stainless and difficult-to-weld steels.
Typical applications for this WELD-ALL include joining hard manganese steels, tool steels, spring steels, buffering as well as joining dissimilar steel grades. SIFSTEEL 312 deposits a crack-resistant weld metal with an increased ferrite content of approx. FN50. Materials to be welded: High strength, unalloyed and alloyed heat treatable steels; stainless, ferritic chromium and austenitic CrNi steels; austenitic manganese steels. Chemically resistant weld claddings ranging from ferritic-pearlitic steels to fine grain steels, incl. high temperature fine grain steels. Dissimilar joining.
