MWA MAC HICA E3075 is also known as Alloy 21 or Stellite 21 welding rods. This electrode has a rutile flux on top of a fully alloyed core wire. E3075 is the most suitable electrode from our cobalt range for providing toughness; it was originally designed specifically for use as forging die material. This electrodes low carbon content provides excellent resistance to thermal and mechanical shock.
Stellite 12 welding electrodes deposit a high alloyed cobalt weld metal which has only 0.3% carbon content. The welds are machinable. Suitable areas of use include steel mill rolls, valve seat inlays, hot working dies and tools, hot shearing blades / tongs etc..
