MWA's Mac Stain E122 is made from a highly alloyed wire with a high purity lime/rutile flux coating that deposit a high chromium duplex weld metal. It has excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion. The 2209 duplex electrode has a very stable welding arc which produces low spatter, easy strike / re-strike & easy slag detachability. The following alloys can be welded with this electrode:
