MWA's Mac Stain E310 is a fully austenitic stainless steel welding rod with a rutile flux coating. It is designed to weld austenitic heat resistant stainless steels such as AISI type 310 and firth vickers immaculate 5. The weld this rod produces offers good heat resistance up to 1400c in air & up to 650c in oxidising sulphurous atmospheres. Common applications include foundry heat treatment trays/bins, foundry thermocouple units and other furnace elements.
