Module B: Laser Safety Officer Training

Building on the Laser Safety Awareness Training Module, the Laser Safety Officer Training provides a deeper understanding of the legal and legislative framework governing laser safety. It outlines the roles, responsibilities, and duties of the designated Laser Safety Officer (LSO). Participants will engage in sample laser safety calculations to apply their knowledge. Organizations using Class 3B, 3R, and Class 4 lasers must appoint a named LSO, as required by regulation. For more details, refer to BS EN 60825 (Part 14: Users’ Guide).

All delegates must have previously completed Module A (Laser Safety Awareness Workshop)
